Thing Of Otherness

 Different People Thinking 

All of us are like fingers on hand. No one like others. We all are different . all our thinking are different. this is the otherness. Does everyone think the same way? Of course not! Every one has his or her way of thinking, and we can saw this different all the ways in social. 

one day my brother gave me an LED strap to put on my wall in my room. He really likes bright, colorful lights, and I know he was excited to give it to me. But when I got it, I didn’t feel the same. I don’t like bright colors or flashing lights. I like calm and simple decorations for my room. always i like to be in calm vibe. 

That show how everyone thinks differently – what my brother likes, I may not, but other person can like it . I might not enjoy the LED lights myself, but knowing he thought it would make me happy, I appreciate the gift because of that.

But I don't think I will ever really like the colorful lights. I would like to receive presents to my own tastes. All the same, I understand where my brother is coming from, and I am grateful for his thoughtfulness.

Had people learned more often how others think, rather than just their own way, things could have gone differently. This would make us more caring and respectful of each other's choices. This is where "otherness" becomes important: the actuality that people do think differently and feel in different ways. It helps us to remember the perspectives at hand within this world.

Perspective Of others way

one day , curfew-bound day, an alien landed on Polonnaruwa. The streets were empty, the alien walked through the town, observing the abandoned ruins and ancient stones , he comes across many statues of Lord Buddha standing with mysteriously.

Though the alien cannot fully understand the meaning of what it sees, there is a deep connection to the land,the alien feels the power of the place and its integral cultural heritage.

It is a spot where an alien, waters of a large reservoir, feels a strange feeling between nature and history. the site made a little sense to it, the alien sees how all is interconnected, as if the land itself holds the stories of past people. 

So, on a curfew day, the alien lands at Polonnaruwa. It strolls around, saw the ruins and Buddha statues, without understanding their meaning. But the alien feels something about the place . The alien can't tell it, but it feels something different, something connected in its way. This is the example of "otherness"-how everyone sees things differently, defines things differently. The alien would think in an alien kind of way, but that does not mean that he will not feel something about the place. It shows how we all experience the world in our own way.

All genders one concept 

We were asked to design a bathroom logo that can be used by all genders. Most signs for bathrooms are for men or women, but we had to create a logo that everyone, regardless of gender, could feel comfortable using, we created a symbol that doesn't focus on any one gender but instead invites all people. This piece relates to the concept of inclusivity in design and helping people feel respected and accepted. It also relates to "otherness," as many individuals who identify as other do not identify with traditional male/female genders, causing them to feel like outsiders in life. this bathroom concept not more better in social because there has rapers, killers, mentally unbalanced people. so i don’t think this concept is not for all.
